NIBELVIRCH è il primo concept album dei Butt Splitters composto da 12 brani ispirato all' affascinante storia di Paul Amadeus Dienach, un uomo del passato che visse scorci del futuro nel 3905/3906 durante uno stato comatoso provocato da un' encefalite letargica.
Attraverso un tessuto sonoro eclettico che spazia da potenti riff a delicate melodie eteree, i Butt Splitters danno voce alle visioni di Dienach; ogni traccia è un tassello di questo puzzle che esplora l' interazione dell'uomo con la civiltà avanzata del futuro, con le scoperte scientifiche, la struttura sociale e le differenze con il suo tempo.
"Nibelvirch" non è solo un omaggio a una storia affascinante ma anche una riflessione sull'anima, la coscienza e il potenziale evolutivo (o involutivo) dell'umanità.
